Approximately 89,235 pounds of frozen meat products are being recalled by a company based in Kenosha County due to possible contamination, a September 2 article from the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported.
According to reports, Kenosha Beef International LTD is recalling the 24oz and 13.5lb bags of “Johnsonville Grillers Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Flavor” patties. The company decided to issue the recall after getting complaints that the affected products contained what appeared to be fragments of metal. Though no one was reportedly harmed by the recalled pork sausage patty products that were also distributed in Illinois, consumers were told to either return the product to retailers or dispose of it immediately. Consumers who believe that they have been injured by the recalled products are advised to immediately seek medical treatment.
Families unfortunately have to deal with hefty financial losses after accidentally consuming contaminated food products. However, if this happens to you in Danville, a lawyer from Pohl & Berk, LLP may work for you.
