Female motorcyclist killed in crash

A female motorcyclist recently died after her motorcycle was hit by another vehicle in East Nashville the night of April 7.

According to Metro Police, the accident happened at the 2500 block of Dickerson Pike at around 10 p.m. when an SUV crashed into a motorcycle driven by Jennifer Mosey. The victim reportedly sustained fatal injuries after her motorcycle struck the front passenger fender of the SUV. Mosey was rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.

While police have ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the fatal crash, charges may still be filed against the SUV driver as authorities continue to investigate the accident.
