A Knoxville man is at the University of Tennessee Medical Center after he suffered severe burn injuries to the top half of his body. Just before ten o’clock last Thursday night, the family heard a popping sound outside. The man went outside only to discover that there was a fire on their trailer’s wooden deck.
He tried to put the fire out by stomping on it, but ended up burning half of his body. His wife, their two children, as well as two neighbors and their children were inside when the fire started but were able to escape unharmed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
