A male pedestrian died on December 1 after he was struck by two vehicles on a highway in Blount County, an article on wate.com reported.
Reports coming from the Tennessee Highway Patrol stated that the fatal accident happened northbound on U.S. 321 in Friendsville. The pedestrian, identified as 33-year-old Virgil Jones, reportedly was walking in the road when he was struck by the two vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the two drivers as Barbara Cook and Garrison Lee Love.
