Nissan recently issued two recalls that affect its 2014 model of its hatchback Versa Note and another vehicle, as these cars could cause potential injury to occupants if a car accident occurs, a report from The Los Angeles Times stated on August 6.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said 7,707 of the 2014 Note hatchbacks were affected by loose or missing bolts on the lower body sill and another 7,782 cars have a defective latch bolt located at the rear seat of the hatchback. The NHTSA said both defects can cause injuries in the event of a car crash. As such, all owners of these vehicles are advised to contact their dealer and have the issues fixed for free.
