From May 13 to May 19, the American Health Care Association is urging everyone to celebrate National Nursing Home Week. The objective is not just to contact or visit loved ones in nursing homes, but also to celebrate the staff that cares for them.
This year’s theme is “Celebrating the Journey,” and nursing homes throughout the country have planned special events to honor the lives and milestones of its residents and dedicated staff.
National Nursing Home Week encourages everyone to celebrate the relationship between the staff, the residents, and their loved ones, as well as honor those that make the nursing homes possible.
